Questions
About MMO
Why?
Socialization, ease of transition to a
pre-school classroom, or just a few mornings a
month of creative play are all good reasons to
join the MMO program at Daniel Island Academy.
Who?
The MMO program is great for families in need of
flexible care. Families on the Waiting List for
Full Day programs should consider MMO for
socialization and ease of transition when a
classroom space becomes available.
What?
Up to 10 children per day with 2 teachers
leading them through an age appropriate daily
schedule, including outdoor time and a
nutritious morning snack. As with all half day
and full day programs, our MMO offers the
Creative Curriculum.
Where?
MMO students are dropped off and picked up
in the MMO classroom #110 on the Toddler wing at
Daniel Island Academy. They also visit the
playground and multipurpose room during their
class day.
How do
I join the MMO Class? All new students
at Daniel Island Academy are required to submit
a New Student Enrollment Packet along with a
$125 new student application fee. MMO cards are
purchased for $380 and are good for 10 visits.
The card is good for up to one year. Any unused
portion of a MMO card can be rolled over into
another program. Can MMO students stay for Lunch
Buddies and Enrichment Programs?
MMO
students are welcome to stay for Lunch Buddies,
a daily lunch program that includes a nutritious
lunch and creative play. Lunch Buddies cards may
be purchased for $90 and are good for 10 visits,
and are good for one year from purchase.
Reservations for Lunch Buddies must be placed no
later than 9:00 am the day of service. MMO
students are also invited to participate in our
